You’ll also tour the Mud Dauber School of Natural Building campus to see and discuss our demonstration cottages\, cob oven\, and cob/strawbale garden walls. \nThis is a great course for anyone interested in cob\, but unsure of whether you want to take a more intensive course. \nYou’ll be mixing with our feet\, and applying with your hands – dress to get muddy! \nRegister HERE! \n\n\n \n  \nAbout the Mud Dauber School of Natural Building: \nOur mission is to empower people by teaching them the skills of natural building. We believe in the effectiveness of hands-on learning\, and we make that our focus. We also recognize the importance of community\, and weave this belief into our workshop format through shared meals\, cob oven pizza parties\, and emphasizing a team approach on the worksite. \nThe Mud Dauber School campus shares land with the homestead of the owners Greg & Danielle.  We began running natural building workshops here in 2014\, and have co-created with our students a series of natural demonstration cottages\, garden walls\, and community spaces. With each new season\, we continue to work on our campus\, building new spaces and finishing old ones.

As the company grew\, we came to focus on Backyard Cottages and Accessory Dwelling Units\, both factory-built modular as well as traditional site-built construction. Kurt’s focus is on business development and market analysis to guide the company’s direction. \nAmanda Wolfe \nAmanda comes from an extensive background in sales and design. She started in the building industry by creating custom lighting packages for luxury residential homes\, as well as representing one of the world’s top quartz countertop manufacturers as a brand manager. While there she worked with hundreds of interior designers\, architects\, builders and big box stores throughout the PNW. Amanda held a lifelong a passion for creating more affordable housing options\, and took the jump into tiny home sales and design in 2020 and became a part of the Carriage Houses NW team in 2022 as our head of sales and customer experience.

She started in the building industry by creating custom lighting packages for luxury residential homes\, as well as representing one of the world’s top quartz countertop manufacturers as a brand manager. While there she worked with hundreds of interior designers\, architects\, builders and big box stores throughout the PNW. Amanda held a lifelong a passion for creating more affordable housing options\, and took the jump into tiny home sales and design in 2020 and became a part of the Carriage Houses NW team in 2022 as our head of sales and customer experience.

Kurt’s focus is on business development and market analysis to guide the company’s direction. \nAmanda Wolfe \nAmanda comes from an extensive background in sales and design. She started in the building industry by creating custom lighting packages for luxury residential homes\, as well as representing one of the world’s top quartz countertop manufacturers as a brand manager. While there she worked with hundreds of interior designers\, architects\, builders and big box stores throughout the PNW. Amanda held a lifelong a passion for creating more affordable housing options\, and took the jump into tiny home sales and design in 2020 and became a part of the Carriage Houses NW team in 2022 as our head of sales and customer experience.

DESCRIPTION:A new event from the organizers of SkooliePalooza is coming to Arizona this winter! \nCome park your rig in the beautiful southwest desert for this school bus conversion\, winter camping\, and community-building event! Meet other conversion owners\, or just come to see what others have done in their own builds as ideas for your own future conversion. Van dwellers and tenters welcome! It’s family-friendly too. Join for a week-long community event with a wide variety of activities. Importantly\, the BLM allows you to stay 14 days. \n  \nA community organized non-event\, the Ungathering had approximately 1500 nomads at peak (the Saturday of the event). Organized by the community of volunteers\, we had a Crafters/Artisan Row\, Wellness Sessions\, Community Kitchen\, Sound Circus and many other activities. We even had an area for those of us who are Introverts to recover from the constant community interaction.
