DESCRIPTION:Join CalEarth in collaboration with Vide Terra for a SuperAdobe earth dome workshop in Italy. Attendees will build a 2.5m (internal diameter) earth dome with a door opening and a window. The purpose of the course is to give the theoretical and practical tools to design and build a small earth structure or a living space. Importantly\, the course will be held in English and Italian. \n\nSpots are limited.\n \n\n\n \nFood and Accommodation\n“We can offer shared rooms for 15 euros per night (breakfast included\, towels and bedsheets included). Each room will have a private bathroom. We have available rooms with 2-3-4 and 5 beds. The rooms will be divided per gender or\, only upon availability\, it is possible to request a room for a group or a couple. \nWe can provide lunch and dinner\, the cost of it is 10 euros per meal. There will be more than a dozen exhibitors\, including full-sized prototype homes\, displaying innovative building technologies that address affordability\, resiliency\, and the future of housing.\n\n\n \nThe Innovative Housing Showcase is a three-day event featuring new building technologies and housing solutions that are making housing more innovative\, resilient\, and affordable for American families. It includes exhibitor demonstrations\, entrepreneurs\, and leaders in the housing industry\, like the Tiny Home Industry Association President Dan Fitzpatrick. He’s advocating on behalf of movable tiny homes\, aka tiny houses on wheels.\n\nTiny House Expedition had the great pleasure of participating in the first Innovative Housing Showcase in 2019.
