6’7″ Man’s Peaceful Tiny House Life in Alaska

Kevin's tiny house life in Alaska is centered around his three lovesnature, music, and teaching.

He built his tall-man friendly THOW in collaboration with Bartlett High School. It is very much in the style of historic Alaskan dry cabin, but road-worthy, with a fold-down awning and removable porch. It's 15' tall, the max road-legal height in Alaska.

His tiny home is nestled in a gorgeous mountain landscape with superb wildlife watching opportunities. Kevin relishes the intimate connection he feels with his surroundings, largely thanks to the many windows in his small space.

Kevin ultimately plans to build a small house, 800-1000 sqft, on his property. For now, he loves peaceful, simple living in his rustic tiny house on wheels.

Of note, his THOW does not have a bathroom; he uses an outhouse.
